25 seats in a matter of minutes is what must be called as a nervous moment for Tories in blue / orange Home Counties marginals

Corbyn doesn’t get it at all, and staying on ‘during period of reflection and handover process’. Staggering.

It’s all gone quiet.
Bad night for the uk and worse for Scotland. Never have I felt so out of touch with popular opinion.
At least I backed the winner in my own back yard.
Labour should consider talking to Ian Murray to understand why he alone seems to be holding firm.

Just woken up and currently catching up.
But Swinson losing her seat. That’s made me laugh.
I’d have been unhappy with a second referendum, but hopeful that the same result would have happened.
But when you straight up spit in the face of a democratic vote, then you get everything you deserve love.

I think that’s very harsh on Swinson. If she had happened to be PM then a democratic vote would have taken place. Problem is that wasn’t going to happen.

Turkeys voting for Christmas = dumb ignorance. Thing is, it’s not just the turkeys that suffer.
It all goes back to the referendum lies. The referendum was offered as cynical tactic to secure votes by a party desperate to get a majority by any means. Leaving the EU seen for some reason as the solution to problems that either don’t really exist or are the fault of the sitting Government. You’ve all been played.
Corbyn lack of mainstream appeal and demonisation by the right-wing media is obviously also a huge factor.
