Given that we are quite likely to end up by tomorrow morning with the most far-right, most recklessly irresponsible and destructive government of my lifetime, who are going to wholly pander to the voices of intolerance, xenophobia and hatred, I decided to make the most of today, as it could quite possibly be the last day of the Britain I grew up in. So I went for a nice run this morning and indulged myself by going to a lunchtime classical concert, and I've not tried to get too much work done.
