Boris Johnson is a complete and utter 8 out of 10 cats prefer Whiskas.

Is that acceptable :-) ?

A rugby league messageboard I have used since the mid 1990s automatically replaces swear words with the names of chocolate bars. So a player's poor performance might be described by an irate fan as galaxying twix and supporters of local rivals Warrington as a set of bounties and the referee as a malteser.

It does mean that I mentally substitute the appropriate word back whenever I see chocolate bars in the shops, so not a perfect solution.

You're maybe on the same forum as mr lf who alleges a chap from Cockermouth had a very entertaining time trying to post support for his team.. ..

I've not voted yet but will go later after beavers. My mother always insisted our family voted before we were given tea and I've voted in every election since I was 18.
We are already telling our two why we think that is important.

I'm going to say a majority of 35 for Goldilocks. I have absolutely no science behind that prediction.
I'm hoping for a hung Parliament, although the number of possible routes Parliament may take become really head-spinning if we get that. I can't see that a further election can be called to "Get Brexit Done" when people and Parliament continue to be so gridlocked. A second ref has to be an option. But I don't see how the numbers can stack up to get that if Labour continue to insist on the deal re-negotiation objective. Really we should go for Johnson's "deal" vs remain and have done with it. I don't give that outcome much of a chance though. The geese have heard what the fox has to say and they have bought it.

Name-calling will be called out, and Ad hominem will be frowned upon. :-) And whatabout-ery sits somewhere above responding to tone and below contradiction.
