I don't watch the queens speech cos it's boring as fuck. But I also don't try and lie badly about actually watching it. The Corbyn / Queens speech thing is more (I feel) about how easily he (and others obviously) resort to lies. We all know he isn't a Royalist. Just fucking own that position rather than dick around lying about it. That part of the Corbyn interview was straight out of the Diane Abbott playbook. And just as hilarious. |

I'm not sure what job you do Nellers, but does the number of children you have / don't have any relevance to your work? It shouldn't do for a public figure either. |

... and presumably someone will come back with the standard "it reflects on his morality" type argument. Which is obviously the same accusation that could be levied against at a huge number of MP's across the political spectrum for a range of offences. Which reminds me, must do my expenses this afternoon here. |

But don't worry, larks, it could be worse, you could be shown a picture of a 4 year old child sleeping on coats on the floor of a hospital because there are no beds, refuse to look it, waffle on, then take the reporters phone and put it in your own pocket and have to be asked to give it back.... Ladies and gentlemen I give you, our prime minister: liverpoolecho.co.uk |

Given the abuse he has so casually heaped on single mothers and their children, I do think it is somewhat relevant how many of both he has left in his wake.

Early weather forecast for us is light rain all day and less than 5 degrees. Not great, Tories tend to have cars or have used postal votes. |

Read an interesting stat (from my 21 yo daughter) that women under 30 are seen as a possible influencer of this election as they are a group that have had a low turnout in past elections.

I don’t think his infidelity or his gathering of children out of wedlock or out of a committed relationship has any bearing on his ability to run an economy BUT if you make statements about the moral standing of single mothers and the problems that their children bring you’d better make sure of your own culpability. It speaks to his feeling of being judged on a different standard to the normal people. It speaks of him feeling that he is above these concerns and beyond any reproach for them. So yes, I’m a very real way I do think it has relevance in terms of his morality. It highlights a further example of his hypocrisy. |
