Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
Is that a Christmas Day movie with Meryl Streep playing Her Maj with a stutter? Guess I can't be PM either. G

I'd watch the Queen's speech if I happened to be tuned into that channel. I'd not change channels from a rerun of Die Hard to watch it though.

I wouldn't watch the Queen's speech. I'd turn it over or off if it came on. I'd rather have a PM that didn't watch it than one that did but has issues with honesty and maths (including around the size of his family).

I definitely can't imagine Corbyn watching the Queen's speech on catch-up 😂
If it's replayed on TV on Boxing Day morning then maybe.

Did you not think Corbyn "making up" that he watched it a bit on Christmas morning pointed to a potential lack of honesty by JC himself Nellers? He was giving the answer he was expecting they wanted to hear, not an honest one in my view. I'd bet his honest one is "I never watch it, I don't have any time for the institution of the Monarchy, and in any event I get an advance draft of the text emailed to me"
Slightly irked by the references to Bojo's family size too actually. I'm not one to defend him, but I'm fairly sure the record is reasonably clear - 4 children with his (2nd) wife Marina Wheeler, and one daughter with Helen McIntyre. If there are any others, even tabloids like the Mirror don't refer to them.
There, that's my bit done for "the other side". Now I can get back to promoting JC as the future PM...

I’m not a Labour voter, but I can’t understand how folk would argue that he hasn’t worked all his life for a fairer, more equal & better society.

We don't normally have TV on Christmas day. Music, chat and games all day, but not telly.

I haven't seen the interview larkim, but yes to some degree. It smacks more of his team briefing him badly too.
Even if it does show a level of subterfuge it's something I'm much less bothered by than the obvious, blatant and relevant-to-the-job-he's-after lies of Johnson.
If we're going with the moral equivalence that "all politicians lie" then I'd still go with trusting what Corbyn says than what Johnson says.
On the children issue, he's consistently refused to answer questions on how many children he has fathered. I don't think it's an enormous secret but just accept responsibility for it man! But it's a fair point that it's a cheap shot. Withdrawn, your honour.;-)
