And then Labour move to abolish the post of deputy leader. By tomorrow afternoon it seems Watson will be gone.
Well done Corbynites a perfect example of naval gazing and self-obsession, while the world goes to hell outside, I despised the factional infighting as a student, it looks even stupider now. The Labour party was once a broad church and needs to be one again. There is no other route to power.

Corbyn has stepped into to prevent vote happening, thank goodness. But still it will have been damaging. I think the Corbyn era is drawing to a close, this is about what comes next and the succession (has Corbyn privately indicated he wants to go soon?). And a lesson in how NOT to do it. Time for the centre left to resume control. Far left had their chance and have royally arsed it up. Nearly managed to draw a general election and bad displays in the Euros and council elections are not results to be proud of.
