Nothing. They just want to leave. They also want to give nothing.

No WS. They want everything. With no obligations. So on the 2nd part you are correct. If you think toddler, it's very similar. |

52% want to leave for the sake of leaving? Is this what you mean by wanting everything where we won some ground but not all in one sitting? telegraph.co.uk |

Mkay:) Neither of those unflattering summaries are consistent with the nuanced opinion analysis I linked earlier. It maybe fits 20% of the leavers. |

That may be the case, simbil, but I never hear anything these days other than that Leavers want to leave because they 'won', and want the referendum result to be 'respected' (ignoring the fact that the country has spent the last 3 years 'respecting' the referendum result and trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear and get something to work, meanwhile completely ignoring the wishes of the 48% who voted to remain). OK, Leavers, so you want to make sure you've won, fair enough. What is it, actually, you want to win? This complete shying away from specifics is what has allowed Johnson to come in with a promise to 'deliver Brexit', something which is inherently meaningless. To actually 'deliver Brexit' in any meaningful sense, you would not only have to leave the EU but also to successfully see through all the myriad changes needed over the ensuing years (decades) to ensure the country didn't go into steep decline as a result. Frankly I don't think Johnson has the stomach for that, even if he had the ability (which of course he does not), |

Indeed. He wants to be able to say. Look we left, regardless of the mess. Hence why I say they , leavers, want nothing except to say we left. There will be a tremendous mess and fall out...but that will be blamed on something or somebody else. |

J2R, maybe the case that the 20% make enough noise to drown out the others and so all you hear/remember are the more extreme ones?

Yes, simbil, that is always a possibility.

So, stander was trumpeting the auto enrollment of eori numbers earlier this week as a successful "mitigation" factor. Unfortunately, according to Faisal Islam, UK eori numbers won't be valid in the EU post brexit, so all companies also will need to register in France. So not mitigated then... |

That's not meant to be having a go at stander btw, it just demonstrating that unilateral measures will be insufficient.
