Sure, I didn't mean to imply that all brexiters fell into that category I mentioned (or even a majority of the 17 million). But the ones that do, are probably out of reach.

Yep - I think it comes down to something you posted a while back - "you can't reason someone out of a (strongly held) position they did not reason themselves into".

Is there a way to "emote" them out of it, perhaps?
What is it that they "feel" that could be changed to get their logical minds to follow suit?

I reckon that there are loads of 'soft' Leavers out there, many of whom will simply think the Brexit referendum result should be honoured, and sadly have fallen for the fallacy that we should just 'get it over with', not realising that this is fundamentally impossible. They're not the people I'm talking about, though. I'm referring to the 25% or so who back a No Deal despite the overwhelming evidence that it would be disastrous, and who claim that this is what all 17.4 million Leavers voted for all along. They have gone beyond the reach of facts, they're fighting a culture war that they are determined to win, whatever it takes. They're lost to reason. Nothing will sway them. They're basically jihadis.

Marky, Sun / Express / Mail / Telegraph etc change to singing EU virtues and drip feed their readership for a few decades whilst simultaneously inventing some other thing to rage against that fits a victimised narrative?

And to expand upon the above, I'm fed up of individuals, or groups who chose to use any back door means to stop the implementation of the referendum result just because they don't agree to it. Thought shit guys. It's called democracy.
So porogue away Boris to your heart's content.

And yes, I get the irony of shutting down parliament and maintaining democratic processes are mutually exclusive, but those twats trying to stop this by any means have brought this down upon themselves.
So any means being used against them is fair play in my mind.
