The great Pfitzinger (of P&D fame) has recently released a new book containing a number of training schedules for distances from 5k to HM. I know the marathon schedules are loved by many and was considering throwing myself in to a Half Marathon 12 week schedule aimed at an Autumn goal HM (or two).
I was wondering if anyone had already tried one of the new schedules, or was setting out on a similar goal or maybe even a different schedule.
I would also be interested if anyone has thoughts on the schedules, either from experience or even just from reading the book.

I'm currently reading this and seems to echo a lot of what is said in the advanced marathoning book (which I used for VLM recently). He mentions Jack Daniels a fair bit (another good read for training) and the supplement training for strength, core and stretching look really helpful for someone like myself who struggles to incorporate much else apart from running and a dab of yoga/foam rolling into my schedule. I'm barely halfway through but will be looking to take some of this on board as I begin to target a sub 90 HM and sub 40 10k.

Welcome Paul87, and I would echo what you have said.
It is not as “readable” as the marathoning one as it tries to cover all of the distances rather than being as specifically focused, but the content is all good and there are a multitude of plans to follow for different distances/mileages/time periods.
Just need to be as disciplined as I was for the marathon and actually follow one

Welcome to Fetch paul87! I got this one pretty much when it came out. It is identical in format and structure to P&D. So if you liked that one, you'll like this one too. There's an added chapter on 'master' i.e. older runners considerations. I'm not following it for my plan but there's still a lot to take from it.

Welcome Paul I use P&D for marathon training and have found the schedules hugely successful
I am wondering how this book compares to the P&D Road Racing for serious runners, multi speed training: 5k to marathon, does anyone know?
I am planning on targeting a half this autumn rather than another marathon.
