Fake parkrun done, but as a run, it was fairly rank. It was held a bit later, so although i got the sun, i also got the wind. Nominally the Herbertshire Castle parkrun should have been an easier course, especially taking in two football pitches three times each, but it was rather exposed and maybe the grass took a lot more effort (even dry and firmish) than I'd bargained for. Not the first fake parkrun held here: I might revert to the previous nearly all tarmac course of a few years ago next time.

(I was trying to avoid people, and avoid pissing off people, as much as I could. Might go earlier. Or hope gor rain

Drat, hit "Submit". Anyway, if we are limited to within one kilometre from home (actually it would have to be half a mile these days, bloody foreigners and their logical measurement systems), I'd still have a parkrun course, and not many people can say that they actually built the paths that they are running on.

Indoor around bed parkrun done. Hubby has the virtual volunteer app. So he texted me my result ( I changed his contact details to say parkrun instead of his name Haha)
He even made it 10 secs slower than my actual time. .

At least by doing horseshoes you’ll be giving your legs and shoes equal wear. If it was laps your inside leg and hip would probably get more stress 😀

Gosh, I envy you having a paddock to run in. Having said that, although it’s quite small, I expect that my garden is bigger than PH’s hotel room so really I’ve got no excuse for not running except for a dose of C(really)BAs!
