57.5 I had always thought that in cases where the run was not completed or other issues meant time was not correct the time should be removed if this affected a record additionally in your example wouldn't it be a fitting memorial to the previous holder to reinstate until such time it was beaten legitimately?

That age graded record was noted in the run report at the time - presumably you'd need some evidence to wipe it clean, even if he hasn't run since.

"The performance of the day belonged to youngster XXXXXXX (JM10 category) who recorded a record age graded score of 93.26% and ninth place for his superb time of 21: 16 in his first parkrun. Quite incredible and congratulations to XXXXXX!"

"I was at Bushy at Christmas and they had ~2500 runners and ~300 funnel duckers, which of course meant they had to massage results a bit. My time was about 45 seconds out but of course you don't worry about stuff like that on days like that."

As the person dealing with the results, you'd be surprised how many people did worry!

I did wonder if it was you that did xmas day 2019 results processing Yazoo. I saw you at the finish but you looked very busy so I shied away from saying hello.

I once emailed an event because the AG record was credited to a child in a buggy being pushed by his dad - dad had 2 barcodes, 1 for him, 1 for buggy runs. The record has since been broken. The event team acknowledged that it wasn't a valid record but never deleted the result. The kid would have been 2.

Funny about the age grade "leader" (I had a wee snoop) - he doesn't show up in the Age Category Records, just the Age Graded League and in the bumf at the bottom of the page. So looks like he's been partially removed.

I reckon folk chasing the Feb 29 date will accept a late cancellation on Saturday rather than lose the plot... Part of me wanted to RD this Saturday and pretend I had a major results issue, then delay processing the results for a few days. Make the arbitrary milestone chasers sweat a little. Then I wised up

Nessie - I snoooped too :-)

He's not been partially removed - he's 10th in the age cat record for JM10. Presumably he is much younger than the faster times above him, hence the higher WAVA, as WAVA is done on age in years, not just category.

I've seen the odd 'record' set where someone has entered the age of their child incorrectly eg. born in 1915 rather than 2015...

Ah, I just assumed he'd be top of the category - I forgot WAVA changed every year, and not just on the bandings. That makes sense now. :)

I’m very sad I won’t get to do a parkrun on February 29th. I have a hip stress fracture and my physio did NOT understand the importance. He was very against me walking around

Just have to make sure I’m still running in 2048...
