@larkim - the goal is to add a postcode/placename box to the 'top 100' page, so you can get the 100 parkruns closest to any location.

So is there a call out to everyone who kindly added review over there >>> in the wiki, to copy and paste same into the new parkrun review?
Review tips - parking/ public transport, course surface (mud or tarmac or beach or...), elevation (pancake flat to hilly as), café / toilets before and after - actually, all the categories in the Fetch race reviews, except cost/value for money (!) and timing (!)
Great innovation to have parkrun descriptions/reviews ! So useful.  GG

HappyG, do we need to maintain both the wiki and Fetch's database? Seems like a duplication to me.

Was at Halifax last year, lots of talking at during the briefing, the RD just raised her arm until everyone stopped talking, class! The best way to stop the chattering is to not start the briefing, and delay the start, that soon focuses people's minds and those still talking will be shouted at by other runners wanting to get on with it..

Larkim started the Wiki, so up to him to say, but I agree Fetch's database does the same thing so has rather superseded it (inspired by Larkim's wonderful wiki, no doubt! )
So I think putting everything into the DB would seem sensible to me. I'll copy across a couple in due course. G

Whilst I'm only the author of the idea to get a load of handy reviews together, if anyone feels they need my say-so I'd say "use the fetch tool"!
In a perfect world, the Wikipedia style pages of sortable tables etc would be my ideal format for collating all the reviews so that you can see many in the same place, but in terms of how well it works on Fetch I think our Lord and master has just about nailed it so far, especially with the other ideas that he's popped up on this thread.
