It's taken me 8 years to get to 90 runs and 150 volunteer slots - I won't be ordering my 100 shirt before February!

I'm up to 29 runs since my first in 2010. Hopefully by the time I'm eligible for the 50 shirt the backlog will have cleared.

DeeGee - oh i am sorry that I dont value a T-shirt but i volunteered so that parkrun grew. Have given up Christmas and New Year many times.

Oh wait i did it because I don't mind volunteering, I don't need a tshirt or a pat on the back for it.

I started at parkrun 69 and have volunteered more times than I have run. Stood in the park with a broken leg just to be there and give back so dont come at me with that shit.

People like me are why the miserable gits in 25 tshirts have a bloody parkrun because we volunteered before parkrun was cool.

Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
I'm proud of my 50 shirt too. I know lots of you have done 100, 200 plus parkruns, but for some of us 50 seems a lot.

And, did you know, not everyone, not even runners, have heard of parkrun? So wearing our parkrun t-shirts is actually advertising this very worthy event. And possibly getting more people, currently non-runners, or runners who don't currently parkrun, involved. Before you sniff at the parkrun t-shirts! (I did like that funny picture / infogram with the alterative meanings of the parkrun shirts e.g. Apricot - I've got too much money!) :-) G

Larks - i wear my 250 for milestone events at no other point. When i tour i try to just be another parkrunner.

There are places i have volunteered where i haven't run.

Back in the day we didnt keep a scorecard we just helped out.

That's not @Gobi by the way - I started typing before a work interruption. Work getting in the way of my valuable Fetching time. No offence intended to anyone! :-) G

Rather judgemental Gobi. Most people I know who wear the 25 shirt have volunteered a lot more than 25 times and are the backbone of their local parkruns and far from miserable gits. It's nice for them to have a tshirt but they would volunteer without one.
