Fierce and Fearless Fleecy
God but I hate those barking bloody parkrun dogs during briefings. The high pitched screeching noise really bugs me, and then they all set each other off! A bit of woofing doesn't bother me in most contexts, but certain dogs bark sooooo loudly that you can see several hundred people wincing in discomfort.

I know! You'd think the owners wouldn't be able to bear it and would do something about it 
On a happier note, there were a lot of kids at our Meteor Mile race last night, and several of them said something like 'I started running at junior parkun and it's fun so I wanted to run in a race now' (The prizes for the junior category winners were chocolate trophies - I would so love to win one of those :-))

Nice to see so many newbies at junior parkrun at Duthie Park.
Apparently there was a car driven onto lower prom at Aberdeen parkrun yesterday, I miss it thankfully but must have been a surprise how someone got there.

and the owners saying 'shush shush', JUST DO SOMETHING WITH THAT NOISY ANIMAL ALREADY! I'm sure they realise it's annoying, but not just HOW annoying it is, it's like putting fingernails on a blackboard and then amplifying it x100!

Having said that, I had a lovely parkrun and made friends with an 11 year old boy at Medina parkrun on Saturday, it is so beautiful. And Roy (Ray?) is a right character of an RD I might donate some money towards their junior parkrun efforts.

pr Tourism at Lanhydrock in Cornwall this weekend. Stunning setting on a beautiful day with some cheeky hills thrown in. 2 miles downhill followed by last mile up and a charge down to the finish. Really friendly folks. Highly recommmended.
