Victoria parkrun for a perfect Belfast morning, (grey and it wasn't raining), under Samson and Goliath the dockyard cranes, got lapped by Nick Griggs who ran 13'44

Ironically in my only other second place at Firenze I also missed a turning while in the lead. To be fair though the winner that day would have beaten me even if I had not missed the turn.

As it happens, I’ve had a couple of 1st finisher situations where I’ve had to slow down / stop and wait for someone to show me the way 😂. On both occasions it felt cruel to speed up again and come home 1st but I did it as I’m horrible like that!

@SteveBelfast. 18:30 and lapped 😳!!

WW he was off like a rocket, I was still talking at the back😉, Victoria is a very popular, and very fast parkrun. I was 58th place running that time 😵‍💫
