I wea4 my Garmin FR35 all the time but that is predominantly as it's only watch I have for telling the time too. I do like to record my steps & aim for 15,000 average each year. I do find it helps me get out the door on some days when I'm otherwise am having a CBA moment.

I 'won' our local Boxing Day 5k last year, run on those lines Jabberknit. Never been close before in 3 other attempts.
I like anything that motivates me to get out and run. Sunshine and scenery are not always guaranteed year round, podcasts and a nice GPS track are more dependable!

I only wear my Garmin for running or going for a specific walk so I have never used it to count my steps or what calories I have eaten etc.

I mostly wear my Garmin all the time I am awake, but it is my watch too. I do find it useful as an arse-kicker if I've been sat still for too long - my back plays up if I don't move reasonably often. Also I like the fact that it tells me a summary of texts/emails that arrive on my phone. I can also pay wirelessly with it in shops.
Grep - for vitamin D, I recommend DLux vitamin D spray. A lot nicer than tablets.

My Garmin only gets put on when I'm going for a run, walk or bike ride, otherwise it lives on the dining table and I wear a normal watch that is much less bulky and more attractive. I've never considered getting into counting my steps.

Ditto for what Quimby and Macca said. Although I don't use it to pay for things (not yet, anyway).

Won't ever use it to pay for things. I worry bout people skimming it (I keep all my cards in one of those Faraday metal card holder wallet things).

Ooh - my outdoor shop* sells those. Often wondered.
*Brigham is it? Something like that. Nothing to do with Salt Lake City though.

I'm not that paranoid, but in any case make contactless payments with my phone, which uses face id for verification.
