I hope all goes well 12bar.
Hello Fizz Don't worry about hanging around before the due date we're holding the bus for HappyG who's a couple of weeks away. In fact if we hold the bus for everyone heading this way we won't be going anywhere so won't be getting older, will we?

Shocking news 12bd but as others say but hopefully a good good outcome due to the early detection.

Sorry to hear this 12bar, but good that it's been detected. Best wishes to all!

Echoing all that above. I suppose the only thing worse than getting something picked up in screening, is not getting it picked up in screening. I know someone who was diagnosed with the same around age 40, not through screening but eventually at a later stage after many months of worsening symptoms...though even so I think they are doing well. Hope all goes well for your sis 12bar.

Sorry to hear this 12bD, hope she'll get through it quickly.
A friend of mine a couple of years ago had been having problems in that department so his wife suggested he did the test when it came, He had bowel cancer, was operated, still in quite early stage and no chemo required but he does have a permanent stoma.

In cases where a stoma is needed short to medium term a reversal procedure can be considered later, even after quite radical surgery

I’m at Airedale waiting for results of bloods after developing a weird rash overnight. It’s improved with a load of Piriton and steroid

Early detection is good so hope all goes well 12bd. We both do our poo sticks without fail and OH was recently invited to go for aortic aneurysm screening, which he did and all is well
That looks nasty DT! Glad it's improved and hope it doesn't set back your recovery.
We have a spotty grandson just now (chickenpox) and we are due to fly to Spain on Saturday! He is past the infectious stage and has a fit to fly letter from his GP but we will still all be holding breath till we arrive there!
