Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It was cooler for the first couple of minutes. I'm done with it now. Bored! ;-)

Don't get me started on how badly Eric the Eel was represented, and why we should have a "normal person" in an extra lane next to the competitors for context.

Not the Olympics but Birmingham had a pretty cool robot bull, which didn't out stay its welcome! 😁

Apart from the silver horse and rider on the Seine, which was probably the best bit, it's just been a load of weird dancing in the rain.

About This Thread

Maintained by Curly45
Couldn't find a thread so thought I would start one.

Who else is off to watch or who is watching at home?

We're doing Lille and Paris and a mix of sports. Currently trying to find travel insurance that includes ticket cancellation as some of the trains in the UK might be difficult and we have some internal French trains to do as well.

Also need to work out the new Paris metro ticket/app combo (Navigo I think).
