This morning's excitement on our dog walk was when I threw a stick for Ruby and she reached it just as it landed which also happened to be the same place as where a startled badger raced out of the undergrowth and across the path.

My dog caught a mouse on the field this morning. Luckily I asked her to leave it and she dropped it on the grass (surprisingly). Little mouse managed to run off.

Last night our cat Coco brought us in a bat at 4am. I managed to capture it in a towel and released it out of the door and it flew away apparently unharmed.
Coco isn’t much of a Hunter so I’m guessing the poor bay just made an badly-timed swoop and flew straight into Coco’s mouth.
