halfpint Jan 2021 11:06pm, 2 Jan 2021 33,773 posts	0 halfpint Village drama this evening. Just as I was about to do yoga I was aware there was a helicopter hovering over the village. Not uncommon as we’re coastal but stuck around for ages. Looked out and there are police cars, officers with torches sweeping the beach, coast guard vehicles. Curiosity got the better of me so I took the dog out. Turns out it was a police hunt. Same young man that they were searching for during the summer who assaulted people in the shop then was running around covered in blood, with no top on and carrying a knife.

halfpint Jan 2021 11:24pm, 2 Jan 2021 33,774 posts	0 halfpint He came strolling down one of the streets nearby and chatted to some other nosey neighbours. 5 mins later a police van came screaming down the Main Street and screeched to a halt. He’d gone up a back lane. No idea if they caught him.
