Linds- just caught up on Broadchurch tonight. I cried. Hoping that what was shown turns out to be a false alarm.

We went to the monthly quiz at a local pub tonight which isn't a newt because we probably go 2 out of every 3 months... BUT two of our regular team members were unavailable so we invited two other people and for the first time ever we got a prize ... we were third, but if I had realised that three teams were all tied on the same points going into the final round I would not have accepted random guesses for the answers from my team mates and encouraged everyone to give it a bit more thought.......(not that I am ultra competitive or anything )

Lots of good spring newts, but I like Vrap's springy hypergravity step-ups. It was also a good reminder for me of the sort of thing I should be doing.

I was asleep when my alarm went off. Practically unheard of. I also lay there for 5/10 minutes before getting up. Rare indeed.
I did a walk last night which is a fairly regular evening walk but not been done in a week or so. The gorse was in full bloom.

It was a goodbye speech if ever I heard one.
Perhaps Fleecicles should take up sprinting - I do intervals three times a week, every week.

I've had a clear out of my drawers and wardrobe. I've got a bag for the bin and a bag for the charity shop. I've also realised I have far more clothes than I realised.
Anyone want a men's medium vest (original style) or a black long sleeve top, also medium, both unworn?

I've got a few already today.
A couple of Noticing Newts: 1) I watched one of the the blue tits fly from their nesting box into our holly hedge, collect some of Jess' hair that I'd pushed in there (there's enough to kit out a tower block of bird's nests) and fly back to the nest. A few times. Lovely! Raffo can see the whole thing form his desk but I have a different view on the garden. B. knows!
2) Stitchwort and bluebells added to the long list of flowers so far this year. The bluebells may have been out a while ... but today in the cliff glens was the first time I noticed them.
And a proper doing newt was the walk with Jess. Only 4.5 miles but strenuous (B. knows!) We did a normal walk with an added detour into the glens that are pocketed over the Hastings cliffs. I joined up several walks I've done before ... and I picked wild garlic (YUM)
Clean poo bags come in handy. Although I did want to say to anyone who saw us, 'This isn't a massive poo, it's a bag full of wild garlic. My dog does small dainty poos because she eats raw food!'
