Blimey - I was hoping to do this next year, at those prices I may have to just settle with Mablethorpe after all!

Mine works out at about £1500 for 6 nights. £25 fuel ripoff. Sharing a room, which I'm not too bothered about having been on several rugby tours.
However it is probably the only time I will do this. A once in a lifetime experience so probably not that expensive.

Glad you all are starting to get the booklets. It's fun to leaf through from time to time to get fired up!
As for the costs of the tours, all I can say is WOW...I'm in the wrong business. The thing that bugs me though, is , you all have the option of trying the lottery for foreign entry to New York, or doing a tour. For us as foreigers trying to get into the London Marathon, we have no choice but to use a tour company. Which is a real pain for me since my wife and I have friends in London who we could stay with. Instead, the tour companies require us to pay about $400 per night for a minimum of 3 to 4 nights in a London hotel. Oh well...the plus side of discovering the Fetch site, is I'm finding out about all the other great marathons in the UK. Loch Ness, in particular looks appealing.
