I'm aggrieved because the charge is the same for my 6 yr old as for us. I know it is for fuel, so technically she is using the same amount as an adult, but it seems mean to make the charge to a child as an adult.
The only reason I went with ST instead of 2:09 was because the family accomodation was better.

Hi C and Girlie. Am just going to go and check the paperwork re our trip last year. I know it will add fuel to your rant but we were annoyed at being put in a different hotel the first night because they'd cocked up - which is unbelieveable given how early the bookings are made and your money taken.
In Paris, they tried to put us in the same room but me being me had every bit of paperwork with me so the hotel were left to take it up with Sports Tours. Back in a mo.

Don't be, Girlie. All I'd advise is to have your paperwork with you. From our experience in NY, that's why I had everything with me for Paris. Everything else was great.

what did you guys pay all in for your trip. I have organsied it myself and wouldn't mind a comparison for future ref.
For me it is
£110 for the entry or there abouts.
£390 for flights
£250 per night in 5* hotel in mid manhattan (6 nights)
Total roughly 2 grand. Although my mrs is paying her half of the hotel bill, so that reduces it to about £1250.
