Morning!

Lyrics: A world in white gets underway
I want to be with you, be with you, night and day

Line two onwards. A song mentioned the other day by @Derby Tup !

What: parkpaddle d&d

Why: extremely wet underfoot, but at least it was on, unlike many others. In fact I arrived at another parkrun to find it was off but fortunately there was another a mile away.

And Happy New Year!

Morning and HNY all

What: Parkrun. Enjoyed it immensely in spite of rain and a very wet course. Ran well

Rest of Jan 1: light fire. Walk dog. Watch a film. Blog

Good to hear that you ran well, @Derby Tup ; I just paddled round without too much effort, which is fine: ten months ago I couldn't walk so am just pleased to be back running.

Yesterday's lyrics were, of course, from Auld Lang Syne.

And we need a new theme!

Happy New Year champagne

Lyrics: Not a good start to the year for me. No idea!

What: Whinlatter Forest parkrun, for the first time in many years. Will probably run again later, or go for a walk, because it's nice out.
Why: Closest available, and eL Bee! was quite keen to do it.
Last hard: Today, at least as far as my legs are concerned.

Why : Love to start the year with a parkrun.

Well done everyone who’s been out already this morning.
