Home square or hiding square Evan?
If you hide on the edge of you grid the new edge could be too far away to be reachable in a single run.

My thinking was that where you hide in October becomes the center of your grid for November, so you automatically get a new grid every month. I don't think you would be likely to run yourself off your grid because the center of your grid should be reachable from wherever you typically run. There would need to be a solution for people who moved, engaged in extensive travel, or otherwise spent entire months away from where they typically exercise.

What's funny (well, I think so!) , is that my square based on my gridis actually in EdJ's back garden - this is the fun of us all having our own square and not seeing where anyone else is running
