Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I love Shetland and have watched each one about 3 times. The landscape’s so beautiful and the stories original.

I couldn’t get on with Wolf Hall, too serious and too slow and you needed to know the history to really get it. So have bothered with The Mirror and The Light

I like Shetland too. If you are into reading I also recommend Anne Cleaves books. The series is based on those.

Watching Unforgotten series 2. Think I saw it ages ago but have forgotten the ending, so it’s gripping me. Great stuff.

Yesterday we discovered a series on Netflix called Outlast.

We are big fans of Alone - and it's a very similar vibe (people abandoned to survive in the wilderness), except there's a collaborative aspect. It was totally gripping - we actually watched all 8 episodes from series 1 in one long sitting (don't judge me :-) ).

It takes a very fascinating turn that had us yelling at the TV.

Ooh sounds intriguing. It’s made me think that I’d like to see Fortitude again.

I'm on episode 4 of The Diplomat on Netflix and it's a middling watch. On one hand it's an interesting idea with good ideas and great actors. But it's also one of those slick too-fast-dialogue American things that stretches credibility slightly too far. Also I think there is supposed to be chemistry between Keri Russell and the UK Foreign Secretary and it's just so *not* there! I'll definitely finish Season 1 though.

We really liked The Diplomat. Season 2 is better I think. You have to not take it too seriously though!

We've just abandoned the third series of Hannibal. Things got a bit too pretentious.

What are you binging on at the moment?
