Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Netflix etc. What are you watching?

Anyone seen American Primeval on Netflix ? Cowboys, Indians and Mormons. Not for the faint of heart; strong sexual, sadistic and bloody violence, suicide, frequent profanity, racial discrimination, drug taking, smoking and alcohol use ... and that's just the god botherers. So highly recommended for those (like me) of a strong constitution.

Getting back to the last page for a moment Jeffers, sorry - that reminds me tangentially of Monk, which I stuck for five minutes and hated.

I’ve been struggling with finding anything of quality on terrestrial catch-up. I have no subscriptions. Crime seems to have gone formulaic and comedy lame. I’ve watched old stuff so many times until I can nearly recite it word for word. Help!

RS - I'm enjoying The Mirror and The Light (sequel to Wolf Hall) on BBC currently. Also if you like true crime stuff Until I Kill You on ITV was very good. A hard watch but it really made me think about how we see victims of crime and expect them to behave.

Thanks Neems and Shades. I saw a couple of series of Unforgotten, so will catch up with that. Until I Kill You looks interesting on trailers too. Haven’t yet watched Wolf Hall. Should I watch that before Mirror …?

We’re loving Shetland on IPlayer for some non formulaic crime drama.

Aye not sure what its meant to be either. The though of a lawyer going out on the street so to speak seems lol enough to be a comedy but its listed as spy adventure on wiki

We've just abandoned the third series of Hannibal. Things got a bit too pretentious.

What are you binging on at the moment?
