We've just abandoned the third series of Hannibal. Things got a bit too pretentious.

What are you binging on at the moment?

Currently watching the Good Place. A bit daft, but light relief from the usual thrillers and murders that we watch!

Not Netflx but fell down a youtube rabbit hole watching stuff about the Barkley Marathons. Fascinating.

Not Netflix, but we've just finished re-re-watching Endeavour. Was sparked off when we visited Oxford in June. Moved onto League of Gentlemen as part of Mini Nico's comedy education. Done all 3 series and the Christmas special. Just the 3 20th anniversary programmes to go.

PeterWard5, I went down that hole a few years ago with the Barkley Marathons stuff. Very interesting, as you say. Following all that, I bought the book “Tales From Out There” by Ed Furtaw. The book is from 2010 so doesn’t have some of the runners that have been made prominent more recently, but it’s a good read I found.

Big_G The guy that does it seems to be a real character and the lack of cameras on course and the book titles he chooses are brilliantly apt. The fact that one of the runners was picked up in a nearby town in 2022 shouting at a dustbin...the endurance and mental fortitude required to get round is something else.

Part way through Yellowstone S1 on channel 5. Annoyingly they only have S1 but hope to get more, the rest is on Paramount of interested.

The Mark Cavendish documentary is out today so is next on the list. I can also recommend the Tour de France Unchained series, even if you’re not particularly into cycling racing.
