(I keep meaning to blog about dad, I’m immensely proud of him and still miss him ) I was going to do biochemistry at Warwick, having been discouraged from a biology degree by school who thought it wouldn’t be as useful. Then I interviewed at Glaxo for a lab job like an apprenticeship- and turning down a job in the early 80s didn’t seem sensible! My degree took 5 years part time then another 3 to Chartered Chemist. Have jogged, not far enough and depressingly slowly. Enjoyed being out in the sunshine though
