Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My dad taught me loads and helped with forms and things - having taught himself, he left school with the expectation he’d take over his parents’ smallhding - but didn’t want to aand studied after work for years to qualify in purchasing stuff I never understood!
(I keep meaning to blog about dad, I’m immensely proud of him and still miss him )
I was going to do biochemistry at Warwick, having been discouraged from a biology degree by school who thought it wouldn’t be as useful. Then I interviewed at Glaxo for a lab job like an apprenticeship- and turning down a job in the early 80s didn’t seem sensible! My degree took 5 years part time then another 3 to Chartered Chemist.

Have jogged, not far enough and depressingly slowly. Enjoyed being out in the sunshine though

You are a ⭐ GG.

Have done a bit of knitting and watching the birds coming in to the bird feeder in the garden. Quiet afternoon planned. Busier day tomorrow.

@HellsBells - my FB feed has just suggested a post from 'Giraffe Lovers' page - with a familiar house mural in the picture

@Rosehip this is all over the press at the moment

You won't lose your tariff but could lose the switching on and off facility.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
