geordiegirl 14 Jan 2:07pm, 14 Jan 2025 26,272 posts	0 geordiegirl blooming heck that is big! we did see a funnel web in a crack in a wall when we were there, it wasn't too impressed having a torch shone on it - me I nearly had a fit when we saw it watching us. Lunchtime run to drop off a parcel, buy some cards and a baguette for lunch. Said baguette wasnt impressed with running so decided to almost snap, thankfully I saw it bobbing out the corner of my eye and rescued it. Back to work will hop in the shower shortly (aka coffee break)

I spent a day and a night in Vegas. The best thing about it was the Grand Canyon.
Ness 14 Jan 2:30pm, 14 Jan 2025 47,615 posts	0 Ness Back at base after a long walk. Had a sandwich for lunch while we out but also popped in to Lidl and bought chocolate pastry things to eat when we finished our walk. Having them now with a decaf coffee.

Ultracat 14 Jan 4:18pm, 14 Jan 2025 15,984 posts	0 Ultracat Been to SF and LA. Liked SF but only saw Disneyland in LA. From SF we hired a RV and drove to Napa valley and Yosemite national park. Been to Australia stayed Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns. Had some lovely runs there, apart from beware of crodiles signs in cairns. Most of snow has gone here in Aberdeen, just the odd hard packed icy bits here and there. Having tea.
