Been to cousins as it’s her birthday today. There was no awkwardness which was good. They are all out for drinks tonight and we’ve not been invited but that I can deal with. Fingers crossed what has been said has been forgotten and doesn’t go on to cause any problems for my godson.

Outside of leek and potato soup.
Have been to the Co-op, made a cup of tea and remembered we needed milk. Last brew then, so I can save the milk for the morning.

Ness
Ness household fridge was cleaned this morning. Also have a new freezer (arrived last Thursday while I was out). I've told Mr Ness he's in charge of cleaning that! He's also said he'll clean the oven. Hasn't been done for a while.

Went out for a coffee with an old schoolfriend. She won't retire but says she's going down to 3 days a week from January - silly woman, I'll just have to stay in touch and keep on at her.
Lunch time.
