Some of our streetlights are turned off at night but at this time of year they're switched on at 5:30 a.m. so that suits me fine. Other early risers are used to seeing me out running, exchange greetings with folk going to work or walking their dogs. Yesterday the binmen gave me a wave and one asked me how I was, I see that particular crew every Tuesday on my run. 🤣

Our streetlights are so dim these days I always use my chest torch.
