In summer I’m quite often up at 5.30. In the winter…not so much.

Raptors claws are coming to town
I'm never a morning dinosaur by choice. I've probably logged more runs starting after 9pm than before 7pm, but mid-morning is my preferred time.

I'm a lunchtime runner, when I can during the week. Rarely and early morning one. Would rather run after work than before, if I have to. A between 9 and 10am one at weekends.

I mean *before 7am*. I'm not that pernickety over a two hour timespan that's after dark for most of the year.

Enjoy, Pix :)

HNSW and second coffee. Dad is packed and waiting for the frost to melt off his car. I'll go for a run after he's set off.

I like to get my run in early, sets one up for a good day. It also means I can’t start eating.

Shades
I never use a head torch, hate the feeling that it gives me of running in a bubble. Some of our streetlights are turned off at night but at this time of year they're switched on at 5:30 a.m. so that suits me fine.

Other early risers are used to seeing me out running, exchange greetings with folk going to work or walking their dogs. Yesterday the binmen gave me a wave and one asked me how I was, I see that particular crew every Tuesday on my run. 🤣

I'm similar @Mark Jingle All The Way, J 🇳🇿 - even in winter I'd rather run after work than before, and lunchtime suits me well although is rarely achieved unless I'm WFH on the right day! Our streetlights are so dim these days I always use my chest torch.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
