Shades I used to be like that when I was working but now I don't have to get up early I tend to wait till schools are in. These last couple of weeks have been busy with grandkids as son is offshore. Hopefully things calm again soon. Anyway have a good mundane folks

Shades 11 Dec 8:32am, 11 Dec 2024 5,306 posts	0 Shades LG - when I retired I suddenly realised I didn't need to get up at 4:30 a.m. to run anymore. So for the first month, which was a January, I went out in daylight for all my runs but I soon realised that I find the traffic too annoying. So I still get up at 4:30 to run. I do wait until daylight on a Sunday so I can start my run where there are no streetlights.

I’m also much more inclined to look at the weather and postpone. Previously I just commuted almost as a way of rebelling at going to work!
