I need to empty my dalek and start again

I’ve been bitten again … more bites in last 2 months than previous 2+ years

I used to get bitten a lot. Always put insect repellent on before going out for a run during the summer.

Have made a mug of hot chocolate. Now watching the Paralympics boccia. It's David Smith's first match. Love the red, white and blue hair!

I've been bitten today too. Or maybe yesterday, when I also got stung by a wet nettle.

Had a bath because eL Bee! has gone for a sleep and the bath's quieter than the shower. Wondering if I dare go out and survey the garden. The weeds and the slugs will have loved the weather we've had.

we class weeds as alternative plants, there is too many to control

so I am packed and off on an alternative weekend.
