Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Walked. Foot sore, or possibly just footsore. Difficult to say which right now.

Pie and chips for tea though, lads.

Mowed both lawns, kept the blade high so not much came off but it looks tidier now. Did a bit of tidying in the front garden.
Cooked and ate dinner early. Countryfile on the telly.

No lawns to mow - all the grass is dead.
No children home so pushed the boat out and blew the pension on steak and chips for tea.

Back from Flossie's evening stroll along the seafront. That's the most active I've been all day. I think I needed the rest (and the sleep late morning) because I feel better than I have for several days.

eL Bee! mowed our lawns before we left because the meadow look is less appealing when the random wild flowers have finished flowering. I threw the fritillary seeds on the front lawn. Apparently if we're lucky they might become fritillaries within a decade.

This little house has the most useless knives of any holiday home ever, AND no peeler.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
