Switts - google Mudeford beach hut. You'll need £450k to £600k to get one.And then be pestered by the likes of ar popping round to take a photo The rest are somewhat more reasonable to rent - well, £100 (ish) a week to rentbournemouth.co.ukAlthough I don't know how easy it is to get one
Thanks, um. Dad's parents retired to Parkstone in the 60s: we holidayed there often - but there was doubt in my mind whether their beach hut - at Sandbanks, iirc - was theirs, rented, or simply borrowed.

Thanks um. It's the one's along the Mudeford Spit that are owned and have mostly been bought by out-of-towners now. The seafront ones would probably have been rented from the council, or the site was rented but tou put your own hut on it. You have to pay the council in the region of £1500 p.a. for that privilege these days.

Smelly crisps, but not too many or I'll wake up thirsty in the small hours of the morning.

Rosehip
Tea,
Cooling down slowly as there is now a tiny breeze. Said breeze occasionally smells of smoke, which ordinarily would be mundane for around here, but is a bit concerning at the moment
