Diogenes
Mrs D’s injuries have been dressed and she has her arm in a sling.

On the way back we put fuel in the car and did more shopping, then dropped her off to have her hair cut.

Got home, put the shopping away, fed the cat and the rabbit, hung the washing on the surer/put it in the tumble dryer, put away some dry washing, sorted it the presents I bought earlier.

Now for a cup of tea, a mince pie, a sit down at last.

I do like a prawn cocktail, but we have no prawns and I am not going shopping again just for a few crustaceans.

halfpint of mulled cider
We always have prawn cocktail. Our Christmas dinner has been much the same my entire life so is a bit '70s. The only additions are probably parsnips and cranberry sauce.

Raptors Claws are coming to town
I have returned. Sainsbury's was slightly oversupplied with executive teenage offspring being silly in the aisles, but I got straight through the checkout with a chicken and a duck (both from the reduced counter, both now in the oven) and some Brexitmageddon tins.

At Tesco's earlier on, grabbed a turkey crown whilst lady to side of me took photo of another one - millennials eh? Checked dietary requirements with both sons - seems they will eat sprouts but not too many!

I feel something is missing...I haven't done any food shopping for Christmas, Boxing Day or any other day come to that. We are out all day on Christmas Day and then I think we are my brother's for supper on Boxing Day. I will shop on Sunday for bits and pieces. I still need to get something for OH.

The Mighty Fleecy
Zero would be too many sprouts for my kids.

In the pub, taking ds2 for his haircut was a bit traumatic for both of us. It looks really nice though now the wind has ruffled it a bit. Having a pint then early dinner and bed. I had a nap earlier but it was only 5 minutes. Hopefully a decent night will get rid of the worst of this cold.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
