GimmeMedals Dec 2022 2:11pm, 23 Dec 2022 23,813 posts	0 GimmeMedals I thought of The Enormous Turnip story when we dug up this whopper Carrots and sprouts didn't make it through the summer, due to brassica eating bugs and going on holiday in a drought so the carrots were only big enough for a doll's house kitchen (the same as the parsnips that I sowed in the early summer).

It isn't until the mouse finally adds his modicum of strength (to the two adults, the two chidren, the dog and the cat) that they finally get the turnip out of the ground.
