Thanks!

I’ve always gone to the garden centre for stuff but we were too late last year
Never thought of the hardware store!

I guess it’s time to start sorting the raised bed and planning now?

When it stops raining, of course!

And maybe cover it with some plastic or old carpet or something to help it warm up a bit in early Spring.

I tried growing garlic like that once. I just ended up with a load of tiny cloves.

I looked in on my 7 year old Christmas Cactus that was looking good with its seasonal flowers. However, it’s now drooping and covered in furry fungus 🙁 . I’m hoping to revive it with a clean and replacement compost 🤔

If it’s white and cotton woolly, it may be mealy bug UltraDunc, they are quite susceptible and the larval stages are very small and easy to miss so it can appear to come on very suddenly

Mealy bugs are possible to get rid of. Time to say goodbye to the cactus. At least it needs out of the house asap before they mealy bug goes everywhere.
