Thank you everyone - I‘ll try very dilute tomorite - the worst that could happen is I need new plants!

Self-seeded sweet peas are already a couple of feet high, so I think they're relatively hardy. Courgettes, on the other hand, I would not put outside until mid-May, and I don't think Cambs is a particularly cold part of the UK.

Me neither with the courgettes Cerretonia - I'll probably have to sow some more as I have (almost) no idea which of my seedlings are couregettes and which cucumbers
- I have an inkling, which are which - one lot have all germinated and are doing well, of the others only one is showing signs of growth. Cucumber seeds were new, courgette ones have been in the tin way longer than their sow-by date. hope that's a clue!

Sweet peas are definitely frost hardy, courgettes, definitely not!

York, Rosehip. The garden is fairly well sheltered from wind (high fences!), And usually fairly dry. Frosts can be a problem, but normally by this time they're pretty far and few between. My greenhouse gets built (by me) this coming weekend (wind and weather permitting) so I plan to leave the courgettes in there for a couple more weeks.
And sow some more tomatoes and cucumbers too!

My garden is small and fenced/walled all the way around and it has it's own microclimate, so whilst there might be a frost on the village green the other side of the fence, it's unlikely we'll get another one after the end of April - was flipping cold first thing this morning though!

The half bulk bag of vegetable topsoil I ordered is in fact a full bulk bag, I may need to buy some more raised bed kits....

I finished planting my main crop Desiree potatoes this afternoon. After that I went on to weed my asparagus patch. To my pleasant surprise, the mature crowns are just beginning to poke up the tips of spears . I shall now have something to tide me over between crops.

I may have accidentally bought some more seeds while browsing online today. I didn't need more seeds, but there were a few things which I was umming about when I did most of my original seed buying, and today I caved!
It always amazes me how many seeds you get in a packet, it feels like such a waste when you get 1,000 seeds that you are never going to get through! Although I have packaged up some seeds to send to family who can't get out at the moment

I’m still waiting for my seed order from Marshalls. 17 days and counting. Pretty disappointed with the service. I realise these are difficult times but....
