They are laughing at you @Pmj104

@Sorequads I'm having a few issues humidity wise too. Slightly wheezy last night after the rain yesterday, seems to be better today tho.

Watford 1500m tonight, aiming for 66/2.14/3.04 at slowest for the 400/800/Bell. Then see what I have left.

Not that hot, but for me, I could do with it being cooler.

@philip_m_jones if you would like a go at a few more miles in them then I genuinely think that ShooGoo might offer that opportunity….

I was going to suggest shoe goo, the shoes look fine TBH and it could be a warranty issue if the mileage is low.

Ps @Sorequads there's a trench that stops the cows getting onto the road.

Not one you can necessarily see at first though so it's quite a sight!

I was painstakingly continuing adding my back catalogue of races, when noticing i must have set up a stevie (space!) g account yonks ago that has 50 races.

Strangely the best 5k against that account was 17.45, so beat that by 1 second last night at least!

It looks like you had a good run there, @stevieg. The race looks to be stacked: 18 dead only gets you 168th overall and behind the first M60! I am not sure what my views on Sri Chinmoy and their "vets start at 50" stance is.

Do you track your progress on e.g. www.runbritainrankings.com? I know it is an arbitrary scale but it tended to agree with my gut feelings so when I was in a good spell my handicap fell.

About This Thread

Maintained by stevieg
Hi there - this thread started in 2010 over on RW and started as an improvement thread for myself under Moraghan's coaching, through to more of a general collaboration tool and place to share training and long winded race reports.

Thanks to the fetch community for allowing us to move over, and we'd welcome loads of new contributors adding to the thread, as we were definitely running on empty with a small bunch of posters near the end!
