Inov-8 have been selling off all their stock and seems to be creating new models in the near future. I missed out on some of their walking boots.

The trail talons haven't been directly replaced; the trailflys are the closest they've got at the moment. But even they're a mess as they're selling both the old and new models alongside each other, so that something like 6 or 7 different variants.
ps. still loving the new mud talon speeds as my fell/off-road race shoe!

Inov8 will be bringing out their new zero drop at the end of the year - they said they’d be moving their current trailfly over to the new trailfly with a zero drop - seems silly to bring them out all at the same time especially with the popularity of the 270s currently…, so maybe a shrewd move atm.

I'm sure the lovely people at Inov-8 haven't *actually* done this as a personal attack on me... but this is the third style of shoe in a row that has either gone or been altered beyond recognition before I was in need of a second pair... three times almost within a year! 😆
Altra Escalante, Saucony Kinvara, Inov-8 Trail Talon.

Yeah, I'll get another pair ASAP. Got a pair of Kinvara sitting in a box too. It's just making things expensive - I've only just bought the first pair... and eventually it won't be possible to get them. Then what?

Well, I am popping back in after too long away. I bought some Wildsole sandals a while back - made in the UK. I was loving them, then out of the blue my left ankle and arch started playing up. I'm in either Merrell Trail Glove 6 or New Balance Minimus Trail these days. I'm not sure why I ended up in trail shoes for 90% tarmac, I need to seek out some proper road shoes I think. The Merrell are perfect for me, since they took the weird decision to provide an intrusive arch in a zero-drop shoe - the latest v7 does away with the arch apparently. I also have Vapor Glove shoes, but my ankle does not like them. I've taken the decision that I'll just buy whatever I need to in order to keep running. The NB are regarded as minimalist I guess, with only a small drop, but they feel very spongy to me. I see they also brought back the mt10 which I used to love.
