When we moved here our cats (18 months at the time) disappeared for an entire day when we had OH's cousin round to do a few odd jobs. We looked for them throughout the day but never quite figured out where they hid; we suspect it was under the kitchen units. The first cat I remember was a feral ginger tom from my uncle's plant nursery, he used to get in all sort of places until he'd got used to the idea he was living with us.
