It won't be long until you're under a cat and struggling to post on here because somebody's tail is thwapping on the keyboard :-)

:-) blackcat

Me and the dudette have decided that Mr Whiskers needs a pal so we're going to find another rescue meow at the end of March as long as my bonus is sexy enough to cover the costs.

Good news, we have a cat :-)

Bad news, she is hiding behind a fitted cupboard in the kitchen :-(

She went into hiding sometime overnight. She is so well hidden that after ransacking the rest of the house we assumed she'd managed to get out and called the charity to report her missing. 10 minutes later she appeared for a split second so at least we know she hasn't run away, although the charity probably now think we are complete memories!

She obviously needs a lot more time to feel at home. I'm guessing she's going to be as easy to get a photo of as a snow leopard!

I'm having a beer to calm down ;-)

Glad you found her.

When I first had two kittens they found a small hole in the corner under the units and ended up behind the kick plates. As well as down the side of the washing machine. I ended up stuffing holes with tissue and plugging gaps with cardboard!

Middle cat was utterly terrified as a kitten - she spent weeks in hiding.

When we got Bonnie and Clyde it took almost 3 months for Clyde to come out from under the bed (obviously he came out to eat and poop when we weren't at home)

It took time but he became the most wonderfully loving cat in the short time we had him.

Bonnie was always slightly bolder and is now something of a limpet cat :-)

Kittens are so tiny they get everywhere!

She's out and about now, sitting on the windowsill and checking out the garden :-)
