I wonder what on *earth* it means. If anything.

"Let's make excellent happen" (New Balance).
At first sight, just one more meaningless slogan pretending that an adjective is a noun from a sportswear manufacturer - except there's an unfortunate disparity between the notions of causation ("make") and chance ("happen").

Is it to be said in a Yorkshire accent I wonder?
"Let's make excellent, 'appen"

Then I over-thought the even worse use of grammar in the Yorkshire option and decided as it was an invitation:
"Let us make excellent happen ..."
the answer just needs to be "No, because you're so shit at grammar, you're probably shit at making shoes too."

Aw, c'mon. The people of Flimby don't have English as their first language. They're doing their best, bless 'em.

Are Yorkshiremen not traditionally parsimonious? Thus, saving letters, ink, breath etc, it's short for "Let's make excellent shoes, 'appen."

Hmmm ... there's something wrong with that sentence but I'm not articulate enough to explain why I think so. I'll try.
You can say 'appen I would, or 'appen I do meaning it's a possibility or even a reality but to append it on to the end of that sentence isn't right. It's the 'let's' that's messing it up.
Perhaps they need a separate campaign in Yorkshire - 'appen we make excellent (shoes)

"Let's make excellence occur" ?
"What's occuring? More excellence"
