[ChrisHB, yes. I was having intense tooth pain*, to the degree that it pretty much would wipe out everything else at times (not good whilst eg driving), due to badly damaged fillings and teeth. With regular use, which I've continued, that was largely eradicated within a few days. *i know, I should really break my over twenty year no-dentist streak. I very nearly did - then Covid etc.] (Re The Guardian's shaky grasp on geography - well, it was written by the North of England correspondent, how could he possibly be expected to know, poor thing?) |

And whilst we are on "The Guardian is shite", this regarding Queenie having Covid, reported today: "The announcement on Sunday was made only a few weeks after the Queen reached her platinum jubilee of 70 years on the throne on 6 February." That's two weeks. Exactly two weeks. Two weeks is not "a few" weeks. Except, it seems, to social-media raised fuckwits, who should not be allowed anywhere near the pages of a supposed "proper" newspaper. (The above would maybe be more at home on another thread. Maybe I'll post it there as well, and we can get back to proper stuff like nads-cooling thermoenergenic running shorts and the like.) |
