There's a pub/hotel a row or so back from the river called Lowenbrau check it out they do some good beers and food and is a nice place.

Bit of a cock up at the Malaga Marathon. It's an odd set of results where the difference between 3rd and 4th is 22 minutes. This unfortunately was because 27 runners (including the first and second females) took a bit of a shortcut and were disqualified. The first four at the time seem to have gone the correct way (you can see in the splits), then the next runners went straight on where they should have turned just before halfway and cut out about a km. Organisers state that it is the runners fault as they should know the route in detail. Running round map in hand as well, assumably. maratonmalaga.info |

Yeah, yeah, I should read all 254 messages but... anyone coming to Pisa? CrookedSmile was signed up last I heard; Medalslut is injured. I'll be there with my brother-in-law (and a huge entourage of relatives) but we are just doing the half. |

Not going but have done Pisa. Quite a nice flat course. Was about 10 degrees and most Italians wearing tights, hats, gloves
