Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Can't recommend the Palma HM highly enough- brutally hot this year but a superb setting, top-notch organisation and very well supported once you got to the old town at about mile 7. Think it's only about 28 Euros if you enter before the end of the year.

Lucerne was indeed great - the marathon takes over the city quite well! A ferry link takes you to the start/finish from the station, you run through the centre, do a loop by the lake and back through the centre on each lap, and finish in the middle of the transport museum

Good run with a better atmosphere, and far more vocal support than I have experienced in other races in Switzerland.

The half marathon is at the same time, plus a 5 mile race and kids races

Anyone done Baden Karlsruhe? Any good? I lived just the other side of the French border from Karlsruhe for a year and that was my nearest shopping town. It fits in with the rest of my plans, too...

Although that said, Cologne looks amazing. However, it is the same weekend as Mabletorpe, and ideally I'd like to try and find a free weekend...

There's a German site full of listings, isn't there. Anyone got a linky?
