Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I have an OpenSource query. Is there a way to edit the street to show private roads? The CityStrides site that I use to log the streets I have run down (81% of Leicester so far) uses Open Source maps and Mapbox https://citystrides.com/. Each street has nodes allocated. When you run down a street you have to pass through all the nodes. The problem is that some nodes are in gated developments or private driveways and I don't want to trespass. Hopefully this shows an example https://www.google.com/maps/@52.6221096,-1.1496996,3a,75y,200.3h,78.61t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sayjR2eW0Cba3FqPo4Pg_6A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

um
Becca, yes, you can mark the road / stretch as private, permissive etc

You can also add gates or barriers

All of my changes seem to have been auto accepted, but there is (supposedly) a validation/approval process. There is an audit trail to show who has changed what.

Something me and friend have just discovered and are wondering why.
On OS maps why are some A roads coloured red on 1:25 and green on 1:50 maps? Is it because they have no side verge or fences?

Red roads are "main" roads, green roads are "Primary Routes", their definition of a primary route is "Primary routes form a network of recommended through routes which
complement the motorway system

Thanks K5. So recommended through routes. It wasn’t on the legend that I have.
