Thanks for all the replies. The stuff you suggested was mostly on the list I’d created. I didn’t have a first aid kit on mine, but I did have a notebook and pen.
What about trousers? Are technical trousers necessary? I know jeans are not a good idea.

I generally wear tech trousers but I guess anything that is quick drying and breathable would do. Mine also have vents.

I live in tech/walking trousers, they’re so much comfier than jeans craghoppers do some nice stretchy reasonable priced ones
